A new media community

We want to uplift writers and connect them with audiences who care.

Read issue 3 now: queer joy & open theme

Unanswered calls. The skin of an algorithm. Bees, bulbs, and bad lawn care practices. Fruit. Fear. The mouthful of a cinnamon bun. Death, maybe. Primal humanity: desire, lust, passion. Love.

All this and more in the third issue of Eavesdrop. You can purchase a limited handmade copy, listen to the audio issue on your preferred music fix service, or browse online. If you choose to browse online, please note that different web browsers and devices may display pieces differently to accommodate screen size. To experience a hand-curated collection with each piece structured the way our artists intended, please consider purchasing an inclusively priced digital version of Issue 3 by clicking here.

Our Vision

  • ACCESSIBLE

We want to create a community that is accessible to everyone: readers, listeners, all lovers of words. We want to play in digital media to welcome in as many people as possible from all walks of life.

  • ACCOUNTABle

We always want to be in dialogue with the communities we are serving and the artists whose work we are publishing. If we can do better, we want to know. We are all learners and we strive to embody a growth mindset.

  • ARTISANAL

We want to support local artists, and that means supporting small print runs, handmade editions, and creative production in our communities. We want to hire local printmakers to print our anthologies and pay local artists to make our art.
